Tehran rehabilitation center was established by Iraj Rastegar in 1992.3.16.The purpose of founding this center was education and rehabilitation of physical and mental handicapped children from beginning of the birth to 14 years old. Rehabilitation services include physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, hydro therapy and music therapy. The children use activity daily living and pleasure programs.
The first computerize system of training and rehabilitation in Iran was designed by specialists of Tehran center under the supervision of Hossein Rastegar in 1993.7.3. This system was designed on the basis of artificial intelligence and its ability was presenting assessment test of physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, music therapy and hydro therapy .This system presents the growth figure of handicaps education and rehabilitation by chronological analogies on the basis of specialists and families requests.
